When the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show was acquired, TGS, the new owner of the event, promised big announcements for the October edition. And the organizer has kept its promises with the latest one. Let’s take a look.

While the first names revealed for the 34th edition of the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show caused some mockery among Internet users, the announcement made on Tuesday, August 1, delighted pop culture fans.
TGS has just announced the presence in Paris of Elijah Wood, the actor best known for his role in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The actor, who played Frodo in Peter Jackson‘s saga, will be present throughout the event, which will take place on October 28th and 29th at the Parc des Expositions – Paris Nord Villepinte. On this occasion, he will sign autographs (90€), photos (90€) and panels. These activities, as well as tickets, can be purchased on the official Paris event website.
Although his role in The Lord of the Rings made him a star, Elijah Wood has already starred in numerous film productions. Back to the Future 2, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Flipper, Deep Impact and The Faculty are just a few of the feature films he has appeared in.
Following the release of The Lord of the Rings, Elijah Wood was seen in Sin City, The Oxford Murders, Maniac, Hooligans, The Last Witch Hunter and No Man of God. Also known for lending his voice to numerous animated characters, Elijah Wood has become a familiar face on the small screen in recent years with roles in Yellowjackets, Wilfred and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
