Released earlier this week, the trailer for the next installment of Spider-Man‘s adventures is breaking all records. In only 24 hours, the video has been seen more than 355.5 million times. Far ahead of the previous record of Avengers: Endgame and its 289 million views.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is struggling with the fact that his dual identity has been revealed. In response, he asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell so that the world forgets that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. But the spell will not work as planned and will alter the stability of space-time. The opportunity to evoke the multiverse through this movie and to see the return of many of Spider-Man’s enemies, including the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina).
Many rumors surround Spider-Man: No Way Home and the trailer answers as many as it raises. Will Willem Dafoe be back as the Green Goblin? Will Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the previous actors behind Peter Parker, be in the game? Sony and Marvel will, without a doubt, try to keep a minimum of surprises for this movie expected in theaters on December 15.
