While Jenna Ortega is currently buzzing thanks to her performance in the series Wednesday, and will be starring in Scream 6 in 2023, her fans will soon be able to see her in the credits of a new movie.
According to Deadline, Jenna Ortega has been chosen to play one of the main roles in the movie Winter Spring Summer or Fall, written by Dan Schoffer and directed by Tiffany Paulsen (Holidate). Described as a mix between Before Sunrise and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the film will follow two teenagers on the cusp of adulthood who spend four days together during the year that will change their lives. Jenna Ortega will be reunited with a familiar face as her Wednesday co-star, Percy Hynes White (Xavier) will play the second teenager.
In a statement, Brad Krevoy, the film’s producer, was enthusiastic about bringing the two actors together: “Jenna is enormously talented as an actor and producer, and we know both she and Percy will bring heartfelt depth to their roles, and that along with Tiffany’s experience with character, and her vision for this film, will only enhance the brilliant script from Dan.”
Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White are not the only ones to have been cast in recent weeks for Winter Spring Summer or Fall since Adam Rodriguez (Criminal Minds) will also be in the film. He will play the father of Jenna Ortega‘s character.
