“Where is the tissue box?” This phrase said by Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) translates well the feeling that Friends fans have after seeing the trailer of the reunion episode.
In this 2 minutes video, HBO Max offers a great moment of nostalgia by promising a lot of anecdotes but also to relive some emblematic scenes of the series. This special episode of Friends, which will bring together Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schimmer on set 24, will also be the occasion to have an answer to the famous question: “Were Ross and Rachel on a break?”.
During this Friends reunion we will also see the return of some recurring actors of the series like Elliott Gould (Jack Geller), Christina Pickles (Judy Geller), Larry Hankin (Mr. Heckles), Tom Selleck (Dr. Richard Burke), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Maggie Wheeler (Janice) and Reese Witherspoon (Jill Greene). Thomas Lennon (Randall) will also be present: the opportunity for Joey (Matt LeBlanc) to finally have his show with his hand twin!
Other guest stars will also be at the reunion and will wear costumes that are inseparable from the series. In the trailer we see Cara Delevingne in Rachel’s bridesmaid dress for example. Additional surprises will undoubtedly be happenning and to discover them, we will have to wait until May 27. In the meantime, we are getting the tissue box ready.
