Fans of Desperate Housewives are thrilled. Nine years after the end of the series, Hallmark Channel has decided to reunite James Denton and Teri Hatcher, the actors of the iconic couple Mike Delfino – Susan Mayer, in a Christmas movie entitled A Kiss Before Christmas.
Both actors announced the news in a video that Teri Hatcher posted on her Instagram account.
The film will tell the story of a father of two teenagers, Ethan Holt (James Denton), a real estate promoter and married to Joyce (Teri Hatcher). On Christmas Eve, Ethan doesn’t get the promotion he wanted, so he thinks his kindness is holding him back in his career. The next day, he wakes up in a completely different life and is no longer married, has no children and runs his own company. To get his life back and his family back, Ethan will have to do everything he can to get Joyce to fall in love with him again before Christmas.
