Days after announcing that David Schwimmer would be joining Goosebumps Season 2, Disney+ has revealed six new names to join the cast of its anthology. Joining the second season cast are Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Sam McCarthy (Dead to Me), Jayden Bartels (Side Hustle), Elijah Cooper (That Girl Lay Lay), Galilea La Salvia (Talia in the Kitchen) and Francesca Noel (Selah and the Spades).
According to the official synopsis released by Disney+, the second season of Goosebumps will follow Devin (Sam McCarthy) and Cece (Jayden Bartels), fraternal twins adjusting to life with their recently divorced father, Anthony (David Schwimmer). When they discover a threat stirring, they quickly realize that dark secrets surround them, setting off a series of events that unravel a great mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends – Alex (Francesca Noel), CJ (Elijah Cooper) and Frankie (Galilea La Salvia) – find themselves caught up in the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.
The character played by Ana Ortiz will be connected to that disappearance, according to the Disney+ press release. The actress will play Jen, a police inspector who remains connected to her Brooklyn neighborhood after a tragic event involving her teenage friends.
