The patience of Alice in Borderland fans has been rewarded. Nine months after the release of the second season, Netflix has just officially ordered a third season of Haro Asō‘s manga adaptation. An extremely long delay compared to the previous renewal, which came less than 15 days after the release of the first season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shinsuke Sato will once again direct the third season of Alice in Borderland, which is currently being filmed in Japan.
The American media also states that Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya, who play Arisu and Usagi, will return for this third season. It’s safe to assume that this new salvo of episodes will adapt the two-volume manga Alice in Borderland Retry. In this next chapter, Arisu is once again trapped in the Borderland and must do whatever it takes to survive in order to return to his pregnant wife. To be confirmed in the coming months.
