Back on HBO since April, 22 for it’s season 2, Westworld didn’t had to wait long before getting the green light for one more season. After only 2 aired episodes in this season 2, the american channel announced on Twitter that the theme park will be back for a 3rd season.

Casey Bloys, HBO’s president of programming, declared : “It’s been an extraordinary pleasure to work with the exceptionally talented Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, as well as their gifted cast and crew. From the inspired storytelling to the incredible visuals, we are so excited to see where the next chapter will take us.”.
A question remain unanswered : when will the season 3 be aired ? The fans certainly hope for a shorter break that the one between season 1 and 2. They had to wait 16 months then, between season 1’s finale and season 2’s first episode. If season 3’s production take that long, than we’d have to wait untile 2020 before returning to Westworld.
