The Wheel of Time, expected on November 19 on Amazon Prime Video and already assured to come back for a second season, had the honor of a panel at the New York Comic Con 2021. On this occasion, Rafe Judkins, the showrunner of the series, took the opportunity to deliver the names of the new members who will join the cast of season 2.
Thus, the adaptation of the work of Robert Jordan will welcome Ceara Coveney, Natasha O’Keefe (Peaky Blinders) and Meera Syal (Broadchurch) for the episodes to come. Ceara Coveney will play the role of Elayne Trakand while Natasha O’Keefe and Meera Syal roles are being kept under wraps. According to TVLine, they will be “two of the most important characters on the show”.
These three actresses will not be the only new faces in the second season of The Wheel of Time since it was revealed a few days ago that Dónal Finn (The Witcher) would replace Barney Harris as Mat Cauthon.
