“Same weird family. New weird problems”. This is how Netflix presents the second season of The Umbrella Academy. After an acclaimed first season, the series will have a lot of work to do in order to keep the fans happy, and the trailer unveiled on July 8th should certainly reassure them. Humor, action and time travel will still be there. As for us, we would love to have Five’s (Aidan Gallagher) ability to teleport to July 31 and watch the new episodes.
In this season 2, the Hargreeves family, who thought they had escaped the end of the world, will soon realize that this wasn’t exactly the case. Scattered across different times, the siblings will have to unite again in order to prevent an apocalypse that seems inevitable. All this while escaping from three new assassins with very particular methods.
Joining the cast of this season 2 are Ellen Page (Vanya), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castañeda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus) et Justin H. Min (Ben). We can also expect to see Ritu Arya and Stephen Bogaert in the roles of Lila Pitts and Carl Cooper.
