Good news for fans of Sullivan’s Crossing: the Canadian series starring Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls) and Morgan Kohan (When Hope Calls) will return for a second season.

While the first season ran from March to May 2023 on CTV, the series will make its U.S. debut next fall on The CW. A true success in Canada, the American network is hoping for the same on the other side of the border and has teamed up with Reel World Management, CTV and Fremantle to produce a second season. Filming is expected to begin in the coming months.

In a statement, The CW President Brad Schwartz said, “We can’t wait to bring Sullivan’s Crossing to our viewers this fall, and we are so confident that audiences are going to fall in love with it that we have committed early to a second season. As partners for season two, we cannot wait to work alongside this talented cast and excellent creative team to deliver another emotionally captivating season. Audiences can give their hearts to this show knowing that it is coming back for much, much more.”

What is Sullivan’s Crossing about?

The Sullivan’s Crossing series follows Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), a neurosurgeon whose life is perfectly planned until legal problems force her to leave Boston. The young woman decides to take refuge at Sullivan’s Crossing, a campground in Nova Scotia run by her father, Sully Sullivan (Scott Patterson). There, Maggie must face her complicated present while dealing with her painful past. To complicate matters, she must deal with a newcomer, Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray), a mysterious and irritating man who may cause Maggie to question her carefully laid plans.
