Series and movies fans are in for a treat, as a new action trilogy will bring together some well-known names from film and television.
Bruce Willis (The Sixth Sense, The Whole Nine Yards), Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives, Chesapeake Shores) and Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill, Riverdale) will team up for the action trilogy “The Fortress”.
According to Deadline, who revealed the information in exclusivity, the story will take place in a top-secret resort housing retired U.S. intelligence officers. We will follow a group of criminals led by Balzary (Chad Michael Murray) determined to take revenge on Robert (Bruce Willis), a former agent, who is there with his son (Jesse Metcalfe). The two men will then do everything to thwart Balzary’s plans.
The shooting has already started in Puerto Rico and the first two films will be shot in a row. The trilogy will be directed by Cullen Bressak (The Call) while the script is by Alan Horsnail.
No release date has yet been announced for the first part of this trilogy.
