Secret Invasion : Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman in talks to join the cast

Emilia Clarke, known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, and Olivia Colman, the actress who plays Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, are about to join the Marvel family.

According to Deadline, the two British actresses have been chosen to join the series Secret Invasion. For what roles? No information has been released and Marvel has declined to comment on the announcements.

Scheduled to air on Disney+, the series will follow a faction of Skrulls that has infiltrated Earth for many years. Secret Invasion will see the return of Nick Furry, played by Samuel L. Jackson, and the Skrull Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn. Kingsley Ben-Adir (The OA) will also be part of the movie and is expected to play one of the main character.
