In the original, we followed the life of a bunch of teenagers, some were humans and others were aliens. Between unexpected developments and forbidden romance, the show had everything to appeal to the public. It’s no surprise then, that a reboot was recently announced. However, this reboot will be really different from the original. In this version, the main character will have to come back to Roswell, her home town, where she’ll meet her first love who isn’t as human as he seems.
The casting is slowly growing and a couple of actors and actresses have already been announced. It’s Jeanine Mason (Grey’s Anatomy) who’s gonna have the lead role. Her first love will be played by Nathan Parsons (True Blood). Michael Valmis (New Girl), Heather Hemmens (In Loving You Is Wrong), Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars) and Lily Crowles (BrainDead) will also be playing more secondary roles. As for the scenario, it’s Carina Aldy MacKenzie, who previously worked on The Originals, who’s gonna be in charge of the show.
There’s no air date announced yet but the reboot seems to progress quickly so it’s foreseeable that the new version of Roswell will be airing sooner than we think.
