A promise is a promise. Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick & Morty with Dan Harmon, had assured that the wait between seasons would be shorter. It is clear that he did not lie since season 5 will arrive on June 20, 13 months after the end of the fourth season.
The date of the new season was revealed at the same time as a first trailer which guarantees many adventures with all the family of Rick Sanchez.
Adult Swim, the network that broadcasts the series in the United States, has revealed that June 20, 2021 will not only be the launch date of the new episodes but a day during which Rick & Morty fans will be able to discover clips, behind-the-scenes footage and many surprises. We can’t wait to be there, can you?
