NCIS will be back for a 16th season

The responses to season 15 weren’t the best but, nevertheless, NCIS still is the N°1 drama on CBS. After all, the show gathers a lot of viewers, especially in the 18-49 age bracket. NCIS is also the second longest show on TV and it’s a really large moneymaker for CBS.

That’s why everyone was really happy to hear that Mark Harmon, the executive producer of NCIS and the actor who played Leroy Jethro Gibbs, will be back with the rest of the cast for a 16th season. Kelly Kahl, CBS Entertainement president, was, herself, really pleased by this news and even said : « We’re thrilled he [Mark Harmon] is returning as the centerpiece of the show ». Nevertheless, a departure is recorded. Pauley Perrette will leave the series at the end of season 15.

However, there’s still no news concerning the next seasons of the two NCIS spinoff but we can already assume that positive news are on their way.
