The fans’ rallying finally paid off. After Brooklyn Nine-Nine who gained a new season thanks to the support of its community, it’s Lucifer‘s turn to be saved from canceling. Momentarily announced to be taken back by Amazon Prime Video, it’s finally Netflix who retrieved the show from the FOX. It’s a relief for the fans who massively mobilized themselves with the #SaveLucifer campaign, but also for Tom Ellis, the show’s lead actor, who did everything to renew Lucifer.
WE DID IT !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for your continued support and love for #Lucifer I am so happy for all our fans I’m going to burst ✊😈❤️ https://t.co/DhvTdevGW2

For now, there’s no announcement concerning the number of episodes but TVLine believes that the fourth season will have 10 episodes. Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro should all keep their roles.
