Lucifer: Tom Ellis signs up for a potential season 6

Will Lucifer continue studying with Netflix the possibility for another season? An increasingly likely hypothesis since Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson, the co-showrunners of the series who recently signed up for a potential season 6, have been joined by Tom Ellis, the actor who plays Lucifer himself.

As revealed by TVLine, the actor has officially given his approval for a potential season 6, which is still under negotiation between Netflix and Warner Bros. Television. Our American colleagues also specify that the most part of the cast would also be back for season 6, if it becomes a reality.

While waiting for confirmation (or not) of this renewal, season 5, conceived until now as the final chapter for Lucifer, will soon be available on Netflix. It will be released in two parts of 8 episodes on dates yet to be determined.
