After releasing the first minutes of season 2 and a teaser that took us to Paris, Netflix has now released the official trailer for the second season of the series adapted from Alice Oseman‘s work. The video focuses on Nick’s (Kit Connor) coming out and the romantic relationships of the other members of the group.
As a reminder, this second season will see Nick and Charlie (Joe Locke) continue to build their brand-new relationship, while Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) wonder if they’ll ever be more than friends. Meanwhile, Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) are thrown off balance by unexpected complications. The official synopsis adds: “With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”
Season 2 will introduce Heartsopper fans to new characters including Naomi (Bel Priestley), Felix (Ash Self) and Stephane (Thibault de Montalembert), as well as seeing Sarah (Olivia Colman), Ben (Sebastian Croft), Isaac (Tobie Donovan) and Imogen (Rhea Norwood) again.
The 8-episode second season of Heartsopper will be available on Netflix from August 3, 2023.
