After Titans and Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, the third original DC Universe series is displayed in a trailer promising a good dose of horror. Something to make you want discover the first season of 10 episodes that will be available from May 31st on the DC Comics streaming service!
Swamp Thing, which is an adaptation of Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson‘s comics, relates the story of Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed), a CDC researcher (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), who goes back to her home town, Houma, to investigate on a deadly virus transmitted by swamps. But the swamps of this small Louisiana town could contain much more than just a virus.
Maria Sten (Channel Zero), Derek Mears (Sleepy Hollow), Jennifer Beals (L Word), Andy Bean (Power), Virginia Madsen (Designated Survivor) and Will Patton (Falling Skies) are in the casting.
