Fire Country, which was renewed a few weeks ago, will have new faces for its second season. Read on to find out more.

Firefighters are always popular in the United States. While Station 19 and Chicago Fire are at the top of the ratings on ABC and NBC, the American network CBS has also decided to launch its program about firefighters with Fire Country.

A winning bet, as the series, which has been on the air since October 2022, has become the most watched Friday night show along with Blue Bloods, another creation of the American network. The result: Fire Country was quickly renewed for a second season. And the first information about this new salvo of episodes is already leaking out.

Two new faces in Fire Country Season 2

While six episodes of the first season have yet to air, Deadline tells us that the production is already working on season 2 of Fire Country by adding two new names to the cast: Rebecca Mader and Kanoa Goo.

Best known for her role as Zelena in Once Upon A Time, Rebecca Mader will play Faye, a smart, funny and wealthy woman who runs a concierge company specializing in firefighting. The American media tells us that her character will also be the love interest of Manny, played by Kevin Alejandro. When a spark ignites between them, Faye wants to recruit Manny into her company and start a romantic relationship with him.

The second actor to join Fire Country Season 2 is Kanoa Goo, currently starring in The Rookie. He will play Kyle, described as a swimming Adonis who is especially close to Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila).

What is Fire Country about?

For those unfamiliar with Fire Country, the series created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan and Joan Rater follows Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot), a young inmate who seeks to redeem himself and shorten his prison sentence by participating in a firefighting program in California. Partnered with elite firefighters, he is assigned to his hometown firehouse where he was once a model son. Returning with a criminal record and a dark secret, he hopes to find redemption.

The cast includes Jordan Calloway (Jake Crawford), Jules Latimer (Eve Edwards), Diane Farr (Sharon Leone), Billy Burke (Vince Leone) and W. Tré Davis (Freddy Mills).
