At CCXP México 2025, Paramount+ and Showtime unveiled a trailer for Dexter: Resurrection, a highly anticipated series in which Michael C. Hall will reprise his iconic role as Dexter Morgan.
After surviving the events of Dexter: New Blood, Dexter wakes up from his coma with only one thing on his mind: finding Harrison (Jack Alcott), his son who disappeared without a trace. Dexter wants to reconnect with him and make amends. To do so, he heads for New York, where he crosses paths with Leon Prater (Peter Dinklage), a wealthy billionaire attracted to serial killers, as confirmed by the trailer for Dexter: Resurrection.
The video, unveiled by Paramount+ and Showtime, also reveals that Dexter no longer wants to be cautious, despite his father’s (James Remar) wishes. The official synopsis states that Dexter and Harrison find themselves in a dangerous situation and must work together to escape.
Expected on Paramount+ from July 11, 2025, and two days later on Showtime, Dexter: Resurrection will feature David Zayas, the actor reprising his role as Angel Batista, as well as Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer) and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family).
