With Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender set to premiere on Paramount+ on July 25, 2026, the streaming platform took advantage of San Diego Comic-Con to reveal the release date and a first trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, an animated series developed by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of the franchise.
This new story, which takes place after the events of The Legend of Korra, is set in a world ravaged by a cataclysm. It follows a young earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar. But in this troubled era, that title makes her a threat in the eyes of humanity rather than a symbol of hope.
To survive, she’ll have to team up with her long-lost twin sister and unravel the mystery of their origins in order to save the last bastions of civilization.
With 26 episodes, Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere on Paramount+ on October 9, 2026.
