Shortly after revealing the air date of the animated series What If…?, Disney+ teases the upcoming release of Hawkeye, its new Marvel live-action series. The announcement was made on the platform’s social media accounts. A first official image was also released.

In Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner will play again his role of Clint Barton. The series will air from November 24, 2021 with one episode per week. In this new series directed by Rhys Thomas, Clint Barton will have to face Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old Hawkeye fan who will be played by Hailee Steinfeld (Dickinson).

Jeremy Renner told to EW that Kate Bishop “has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

In addition to Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld, the cast of the Hawkeye series includes Fra Free (Les Misérables), Alaqua Cox, Florence Pugh (Black Widow), Vera Farmiga (Conjuring), Zach McClarnon (Longmire), Brian d’Arcy James (13 Reasons Why) and Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul).
