After the ’80s in Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard is heading to the ’70s. The actor, best known for his role as Mike in the Netflix series, is one of six new names to join the cast of SNL 1975, a feature film about the launch of the iconic TV show Saturday Night Live. He joins Nicholas Braun, Tommy Dewey, Nicholas Podany, Andrew Barth Feldman and Kaia Gerber, the other five actors recently announced for Jason Reitman‘s film.

In SNL 1975, Finn Wolfhard will play an NBC employee in the famous “Page Program,” an apprenticeship program that introduces young people at the beginning of their careers to the various sectors of the media industry. Kaia Gerber (American Horror Story) will play Jacqueline Carlin, while Andrew Barth Feldman (High School Musical: The Musical – The Series) will play Neil Levy.

Based on a series of interviews with the original cast and crew of Saturday Night Live, the feature film SNL 1975 will look back at the behind-the-scenes events leading up to the first broadcast of the now cult program.
