Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for 56 Days, an erotic thriller series adapted from Catherine Ryan Howard‘s best-selling novel. All eight episodes will be available on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, exclusively on the streaming platform.
56 Days follows Oliver (Avan Jogia) and Ciara (Dove Cameron), two strangers who meet by chance in a supermarket and quickly fall in love. Their intense relationship takes a brutal turn fifty-six days later when investigators discover an unidentified body, brutally murdered, in Oliver’s apartment. Who killed whom? The series alternates between the investigation conducted over a single day and the couple’s past, gradually revealing the dark side of their story.
In Prime Video’s press release, creators and executive producers Lisa Zwerling (ER, FlashForward) and Karyn Usher (Bones, Prison Break) discuss their collaboration with the author of the original novel to bring her work to the screen: “We got to be great friends with author Catherine Ryan Howard whose book gave us a sexy, emotional, thrill-ride of a show where everything pays off in the end.”
The cast of 56 Days includes Dove Cameron, known for her roles in Descendants and Schmigadoon!, and Avan Jogia, who has appeared in Twisted and Orphan Black: Echoes. They will be joined in the cast by Karla Souza (Home Economics, How to Get Away with Murder), Dorian Missick (For Life, Southland), Kira Guloien (Robyn Hood, Coroner), Alfredo Narciso (Manifest, The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Jennifer Ferrin (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, The Equalizer).
