After winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, Jamie Lee Curtis is multiplying new projects. In the line of vision: a graphic novel entitled “Mother Nature”, which will be available in bookstores this summer.

It’s a world where we didn’t really expect her to be. Jamie Lee Curtis, actress, producer and director, is about to start writing comics! Her first graphic novel, called “Mother Nature“, will be released in its original version on July 18th in bookstores, by Titan Comics.

A eco-horror graphic novel

This graphic novel is the adaptation of the movie of the same name, which the actress herself will direct in collaboration with Russell Goldman. The story is about Nova Terrell, a rebel who despises the Cobalt Corporation, an oil extraction company based in the town of Cath Creek, New Mexico. Her father mysteriously disappeared during one of the company’s experimental projects. His goal is simple: to avenge his father’s disappearance through a campaign of sabotage. But her plans take a turn when she encounters Mother Nature. A true ecological horror comic that adds another string to the already rich bow of Jamie Lee Curtis.
