A un peu moins de deux mois de la 95e cérémonie des Oscars, l’Académie a révélé les films, stars et réalisateurs en lice pour remporter l’une de ces prestigieuses récompenses. Avec 11 nominations, c’est le film Everything Everywhere All at Once qui est le plus cité dans les différentes catégories des Oscars. Il sera notamment en lice pour le prix le plus convoité de la soirée, celui du meilleur film.
Avec 9 citations, All Quiet on the Western Front et The Banshees of Inisherin complètent le podium des nominations. Les deux longs-métrages seront, eux aussi, en course pour l’Oscar du meilleur film.
Brendan Fraser, sacré meilleur acteur aux Critics Choice Awards, et Austin Butler, récompensé aux Golden Globes, s’affronteront de nouveau dans la catégorie meilleur acteur. Ke Huy Quan, sacré meilleur acteur secondaire aux Critics Choice Awards et aux Golden Globes, pourrait faire le triplé s’il est récompensé dans cette catégorie aux Oscars.
