If you usually don’t stay up to date with the latest video game news, you should know that every year, a major trade show dedicated to video games is held in Los Angeles: we’re talking about the E3.

An E3 that consists solely of the conferences is not a true E3. Nevertheless, it’s obvious that these large gatherings allow us to assess the future of each console. So, this article has been written almost a week after the end of the event, but it’s clear that things have already been moving. As for Microsoft, they are backing off on the mandatory connection and the impossibility of sharing games. Sony is happy to have won a battle, but it is also aware that the war is far from being won, especially since they’ re backed by a group facing a difficult financial situation. Lastly, as for Nintendo, we’re looking forward to the release of a real leading force on its consoles, especially when we notice that sales, week after week, are moving away from their initial objectives. To put it plainly, this E3 has made us want to wait and expect some real surprises in the future, even though the games are far from ready. It promises to be quite exciting…
