Prime Video has just announced the release date for Steal, a heist thriller starring a trio of actors well known to series fans: Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, The Staircase), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (Bodies, The Queen’s Gambit), and Archie Madekwe (See, Les Misérables).
An extraordinary robbery… and an ordinary employee caught up in the chaos
Steal tells the story of “the heist of the century” through the eyes of Zara, an ordinary office worker played by Sophie Turner. Her typical day at Lochmill Capital, a pension fund investment company, is turned upside down when a group of armed robbers burst in and force her and her best friend Luke (Archie Madekwe) to obey their orders. But one question remains: who would dare steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions… and above all, for what purpose?
Determined to shed light on this case, DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) takes matters into his own hands. But the investigation quickly becomes complicated: having recently relapsed into his gambling addiction, Rhys must juggle his personal debts with the conflicting interests surrounding this major crime.
The six episodes of Steal will be available on January 21, 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories on Prime Video. Are you planning to check out this new project starring Sophie Turner before seeing her on the streaming platform as Lara Croft? Let us know in the comments.
