Shantel Vansanten, known for her roles on The Flash and The Boys, has been cast as a recurring character on FBI Season 4. Playing the character of Nina Chase, she appeared for the first time during the episode broadcast on April 12, 2022 and will return regularly in the episodes still to air. As a reminder, the ultimate episode of this fourth season will be proposed on CBS next May 24.
In its opening episode, Nina, who is operating undercover, must work with the FBI to solve a double murder. Viewers will learn that Nina and Scola (John Boyd) had an affair that did not end well. After Tiffany (Katherine Renee Turner) finds out, Scola tries to convince her that he has changed and will do anything to make amends with Nina.
Nina, who is described as “smart, tough and accomplished” joins the FBI team following the temporary absence of one of the members as Maggie recovers from nerve damage caused by the Sarin gas she inhaled. Missy Peregrym, who plays Maggie, is currently on maternity leave, so the production decided to replace her numerically with Shantel VanSanten. Are you happy about this arrival?
