Who doesn’t know American Horror Story ? Airing for a few years now, the show reached it’s 7th season, each and every one of them being seperate but somehow linked to the others by some characters cameo. This show, a mix of horror, drama and fantasy, builded up a fanbase which is eagerly waiting for season 8.
For now, there’s no release date for the next season but it should be out over the course of 2019. When Ryan Murphy, showrunner of the show, unveil some details concerning American Horror Story season 8, we’re practically forced to listen. Recently rumors have stated that the next season will be set in a futuristic context but Ryan Murphy refuted that statement. The 8th season will take place only 18 months in the future.
We learned that some of the previous cast members will be joining the new season. Evan Peters will be playing a comical hairdresser. Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Billy Eichner and Leslie Grossman will also be coming back in this new season. A new actress, Joan Collins, will be taking the part of Evan Peters‘ grandmother.
Finally, we know that season 8 will be coming back to the horror basics, just like in Coven or Asylum, leaving behind the politic aspect of season 7. According to some rumors, season 8 will be called American Horror Story : Radiation, but the information hasn’t been confirmed by Ryan Murphy yet.
