While the guest list for Land Con 5 was supposed to end with the announcement of John Bell (Young Ian), the organizers of the event reserved a nice surprise for the Outlander fans by announcing another guest. And a new one at that.
On Sunday, April 30, 2023, fans of Diana Gabaldon‘s books will be able to meet Joey Phillips – who plays Denzell Hunter – in Paris. If you haven’t read the books and this character means nothing to you, don’t worry, you haven’t missed a scene in Outlander. Denzell Hunter’s character, as well as his sister Rachel (Izzy Meikle-Small), will be introduced in Season 7, which is scheduled to air on Starz in the summer of 2023. Medically trained and a firm believer in freedom, Denzell Hunter prepares to join the revolutionary army, while his more reserved sister displays a passionate temperament that is admired by William and young Ian.

During his stay in Paris for Land Con 5, Joey Phillips will be doing photoshoots, autographs, selfies and a private lounge. If you are interested in these activities, they can be purchased on the official ticketing website, as well as access passes to the event.

Joey Phillips won’t be the only Outlander cast member attending The Land Con 5. Ten other actors or actresses from the show are expected in Paris on April 29 or 30, 2023.
