For its latest convention dedicated to Outlander, The Land Con decided to invite someone new for its first guest. We tell you all about it.

As the Outlander series comes to an end, so do the Land Con events. In fact, the 6th edition, to be held in Paris, France on April 13 and 14, 2024, will be the last, and fans of the adaptation of Diana Gabaldon‘s novels didn’t want to miss this last rendezvous with the cast of the series. The proof: just a few hours after ticket sales opened, all passes for this official convention were sold out, even though no guests had been announced.

But we didn’t have to wait long to find out the identity of the first guest to attend Land Con 6. On Friday, September 15, the organizer in charge of this Outlander event announced that Charles Vandervaart was the first cast member to accept his invitation. It will be his first event in France.

A regular on the small screen for the past decade (Holly Hobbie, October Faction, Murdoch Mysteries, Lost in Space), the Canadian actor joined Outlander in season 7 as William Ransom. A character closely associated with Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Lord John Grey (David Berry). He was previously played by Clark Butler (Season 3) and Oliver Finnegan (Season 4).

On both days of the event, Charles Vandervaart will be available for selfies (€30), photoshoots (€35), autographs (€25) and private lounges, one with French translation (€100) and the other without (€120).
