On December 11, 2023, Zac Efron was honored with his own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. The American actor was joined by Kenny Ortega and Bill Borden, director and producer of High School Musical, the saga that changed everything for him. In fact, it was thanks to this trilogy that Zac Efron became a household name, playing the role of Troy Bolton, and he made a point of thanking them in his speech. The actor also admitted that he still sings songs from the saga in the shower.
In addition to his iconic role as Troy Bolton, Zac Efron is known for his roles in the series Summerland and the films Neighbors 1 and 2, The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackman, Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson and 17 Again with Matthew Perry. Zac Efron paid tribute to the recently deceased Friends actor during his induction speech.
Upcoming films include The Iron Claw, a biopic about the Von Erich wrestling family, and A Family Affair, a Netflix comedy also starring Nicole Kidman and Joey King.
