After the series With Love, Emeraude Toubia is continuing in the romantic comedy genre with The Redo.
According to Deadline, the actress, best known for her role as Izzy Lightwood in Shadowhunters, will be the lead in this movie directed by Daniella Eisman (Never Have I Ever). Emerald Toubia will also be an executive producer through her company The Emerald Co.
The movie written by Maggie Rose follows three best friends who, when they realize they are not getting the love they deserve, make a pact to reconnect with people from their romantic past: a first love, a crush and a friendship on the verge of romance. Emeraude Toubia will play Cara, an underpaid but ambitious assistant at a record label, who decides to get close to one of her boss’s clients, whom she has a crush on and had a one-night stand with a year ago.
