You need to have a pass (there is more than one type of pass) to enter the event and then, depending on what you want to have (auto, photo…) you buy a ticket for that. For hugs it depends on the actors and the moment so we can’t answer you. For the second part of your question, if you have an autograph, you can ask them to sign a drawing or a picture. Only items that are deemed inappropriate will not be presented at the autograph table.

They have already done several Stranger Things conventions in 2019 and they are also at the origin of the official conventions of many tv shows (Supernatural, Star Trek or Vampire Diaries / The Originals series for example).
