Grey’s Anatomy, Stranger Things, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift et BTS : voici quelques-uns des noms cités lors de la remise des prix de l’édition 2022 des People’s Choice Awards. Des noms qui sont familiers à ceux qui suivent la cérémonie chaque année puisqu’ils repartent régulièrement avec un ou plusieurs awards.
La preuve avec Grey’s Anatomy qui est de nouveau sacrée comme la série dramatique de l’année tandis qu’Ellen Pompeo remporte pour la 3e année consécutive le prix de la star féminine de l’année. Stranger Things n’est pas en reste puisque le programme de Netflix est récompensé dans les catégories programme de l’année, série sci-fi/fantastique de 2022 et star masculine de l’année (Noah Schnapp). La série Mes Premières fois (Never Have I Ever en VO) est, quant à elle, couronnée pour la 3e fois de suite comme étant la meilleure comédie de 2022.
Côté cinéma, les films de super-héros sont encore bien représentés parmi les gagnants. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness est ainsi nommé film de 2022 tandis que Chris Hemsworth est récompensé pour sa prestation dans Thor: Love and Thunder. Elizabeth Olsen, quant à elle, repart avec deux prix : ceux de la star féminine de 2022 et de la star d’action de 2022.
En ce qui concerne les catégories musicales, comme souvent, c’est Taylor Swift qui s’en sort le mieux puisqu’elle remporte tous les prix pour lesquels elles étaient nommées. Le groupe coréen BTS, régulièrement récompensé, a de nouveau pu compter sur sa forte fanbase et obtient le prix du groupe de l’année et de la meilleure tournée de 2022. Jung Kook, membre du groupe, obtient également un prix dans une autre catégorie, celle de la collaboration de l’année, pour son titre « Left and Right » avec Charlie Puth.
