While the Coronavirus is forcing organizations to cancel a large number of conventions scheduled for the coming months, Roster Con would like to fill this void by revisiting these multi-edition events that you have enjoyed so much. After our ‘look back’ on The Happy Ending Convention and Don’t Mess With Chicago, let’s now take a look at the Wevents’ convention dedicated to the Shadowhunter series.
On June 24 and 25, 2017, the French company Wevents Production launched the Shadowhunters convention. From its very first edition, a large number of lead actors were present, including Katherine McNamara, Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum Jr. Two more editions followed in June 2018 and June 2019 featuring an increasing number of guests. A 4th edition is scheduled for October 17 and 18, 2020 in Paris. We will only focus here on the French version of the convention even though the company also organized this event in Belgium in June 2019.
