For over 30 years, the Law & Order franchise has been a favorite of the American network NBC and has also had several international incarnations. This will be the case again in the coming months with Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent.
The 10-episode miniseries, developed for Citytv, is set to hit screens in the spring of 2024 and has just announced its cast. Among the actors and actresses who will appear on screen, we can note the presence of a familiar face for those who have already attended a Shadowhunters convention: Nicola Correia-Damude. The Canadian actress, who has been particularly active on the small screen in recent years, will play a forensic pathologist named Lucy Da Silva.
Nicola Correia-Damude will be joined on Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent by Aden Young (Rectify) as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff, Kathleen Munroe (City on Fire) as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, Karen Robinson (Schitt’s Creek) as Inspector Vivienne Holness, K. C. Collins (Lost Girl) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester and Araya Mengesha (Tiny Pretty Things) as technology expert Mark Yohannes.
