At Netflix’s Tudum event, held this Saturday, June 17, 2023 in São Paulo, Brazil, the release date for season 7 of the Spanish series Elite was announced. The series will be released on Netflix on October 20, 2023.
Brazilian actor André Lamoglia, who plays Iván, and Argentinian actress Valentina Zenere, who plays Isadora, were present at the worldwide event. They talked about Elite Season 7 and launched the 1min40 video announcing the release date. If you’re curious, click below to watch the teaser.
New names in the season 7 cast
Season 7 of Elite marks the return of Spanish actor Omar Ayuso as Omar. He will be joined in this new salvo of episodes by characters from Season 6 and a number of new faces.
Among those returning are Valentina Zenere (Isadora), André Lamoglia (Iván) and Adam Nourou (Bilal), who have been in the cast since season 5, as well as Alex Pastrana (Raúl), Álvaro De Juana (Dídac), Ander Puig (Nico), Carmen Arrufat (Sara), Ana Bokesa (Rocío) and Nadia Al Saidi (Sonia).
The cast of the Elite series will welcome new characters for Season 7, played by Fernando Lindez, Iván Mendes, Gleb Abrosimov, Alejandro Albarracín, Mirela Balic, Maribel Verdú and Anitta.
Three characters missing from Season 7
When it returns to Netflix this October, Elite will be without three of the show’s iconic characters. Actor Manu Ríos (Patrick) and actresses Martina Cariddi (Mencía) and Carla Díaz (Ari), who have been in the cast since Season 4, have left the series.
As a reminder, in season 6 we learned that the culprit who hit Iván was not Mencía, but Sara. The latter, with Raúl’s help, hides the evidence and Mencía, believing herself guilty, leaves the country with her father, who has been released from prison, and her siblings.
