Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show 31: update on the latest announcements

This Thursday, February 24, 2022, Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show organized the press conference of its 31st edition expected on March 19 and 20 at the Parc des Expos – Porte de Versailles. The opportunity to review the latest announcements of the festival.

Adrian Paul, Clive Standen and Katie Leung join the guests

While Erica Durance (Smallville), Dominic Purcell (Prison Break), Alain Chapuis and Gilles Graveleau from Kaamelott were already expected, Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show has unveiled new names for its movie & TV series guestlist.

Fans of Harry Potter will have the opportunity to meet Katie Leung, the actress who played Cho Chang, while fans of Vikings will be able to chat with Clive Standen. Finally, the festival will welcome a guest who is quite rare in conventions: Adrian Paul, the actor who plays Duncan MacLeod in Highlander.

Richard Darbois and many dubbing actors at the festival

As usual, Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show will propose a nice list of guests from the french dubbing world. First guest of honour, Richard Darbois, the voice of Harrison Ford, Danny Glover and Richard Gere. He is also known for being Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story or the Genie in Aladdin.

Donald Reignoux, Eric Legrand, Dorothée Pousséo, Vincent Ropion, Pascale Chemin and Adeline Chetail will also come to meet their fans for this 31st edition.

The webtoon format in the spotlight

As it could not welcome Japanese guests for this edition, Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show decided to honor French webtoon creators, a format more and more popular in France.

Among them, Lief, creator of the webtoon Because I Can’t Love You, Hayden Deterra, creator of the webtoon Aether Dreams and Art of K, creator of the webtoon Château d’Ambre.

Also present will be Romain Pujol, creator of the comics Lapins Crétins, Dreamy, creator of the comic Les Pierres du Cauchemar and the following comic book writers or illustrators: Jesus Merino, David Messina, Elena Casagrande and Yildiray Cinar.
