On May 7th and 8th, Paris Fan Festival launched its very first edition. The event was held at The Paris Event Center near Porte de La Villette (Paris,France). It was based on multi-fandom/Comic-Con.
The event has special guests such as: Holly Marie Combs (Charmed, Pretty Little Liars), Matt Smith (Doctor Who, House of Dragon, The Crown), Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf, Superman & Lois) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things). Fans would come having either their photo taken or their autographs and get to ask questions at panels on both days.
Paris Fan Festival has thought of everything to keep you entertained during the day: many activities were there such as: cosplay competition, Harry Potter’s escape game as well as having your picture taken by the Weasley’s Car known in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Also you could sit on the Friends or Stranger Things well-known couch and get to take silly photos with friends. How fun! They were also a small exhibit on Star Wars and Black Phone.
It was a fun experience and you could feel people were happy to be back at cons after two years of pandemic. Due to their first edition’s success, they will return in 2023 but dates are to be determined.
