While Grey’s Anatomy is set to begin its twentieth season on ABC in March 2024, conventions dedicated to the show are still relatively rare. In recent months, however, a number of organizers have decided to move into this niche, such as Dream It Conventions and Night Sky Events Italia. It’s the latter’s event that interests us today, as the Italian organizer has officially announced a convention dedicated entirely to Grey’s Anatomy.
The event, called Somebody Sedate Me, will take place in Milan on February 3, 2024, and will feature two of the show’s stars. Kim Raver, who plays Teddy Altman, and Giacomo Gianniotti, who plays Andrew DeLuca, have both been announced for the convention.
Kim Raver joined the cast of Grey’s Anatomy in Season 6 in the episode New History. After three years in the cast, she left in the final episode of season 8. Her departure was not final, however, as she returned to Grey’s Anatomy sporadically in Season 14 before becoming a recurring cast member again in Season 15. Giacomo Gianniotti was introduced in the penultimate episode of season 11, entitled Time Stops, and quickly became a regular on Grey’s Anatomy. This status allowed him to appear in over 100 episodes of the series.

If you want to attend this event and meet Kim Raver and Giacomo Gianniotti, you’ll need to buy an admission pass. There are three types of passes available for 220€, 300€ and 540€. Pass descriptions can be found on the official convention website.
