Charlie Heaton, best known as Jonathan Byers in the Netflix series Stranger Things, will be attending not one, but two conventions in Europe in the next few months. Let’s take a look.
German Comic Con – Dortmund
The first announcement was made by the German organizers on March 8th. In fact, Charlie Heaton will be attending the German Comic Con Spring Edition on both Saturday and Sunday. This event will take place on May 6th and 7th, 2023 in Dortmund (Germany).
The Stranger Things actor will be doing photoshoots (70€) and autographs (60€). You can already buy his extras on his official ticketing page. Remember, you need a pass to enter the event and good news, they are already on sale.
Many guests from many shows have already been announced : Taylor Lautner (Twilight), William Shatner (Star Trek), David Boreanaz (Bones, Angel), Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters) and Gwendoline Christie (Wednesday, Star Wars, Hunger Games, Game of Thrones) are some of them. Stranger Fan Meet 7
After a first visit to France for the Paris Fan Festival 2022, Charlie Heaton is back for the Stranger Fan Meet 7 in 2023.
The French organizer, People Convention, released several clues to help fans guess the identity of their new guest. We knew that this guest had never been to a Stranger Fan Meet, that he was an Aquarius, and that the word TEKCOR (rocket backwards) was associated with him. All of these clues pointed to one person: Charlie Eaton, born in February, who plays the character of Sam Guthrie aka Rocket in the movie The New Mutants. And that was confirmed this Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The actor will attend the SFM7 which will be held on May 13 and 14, 2023 in Paris. He joins at the event: Joseph Quinn but also Grace Van Dien (Chrissy), Noah Schnapp (Will) and Raphael Luce (Henry).
During the Stranger Fan Meet 7, Charlie Heaton will participate in one or more panels, do photoshoots (70€) and sign autographs (60€). The actor’s activities, as well as tickets (75€) and extras for other guests, can be purchased directly online on the official ticketing website.
