At the DC Fandome 2021 virtual event, DC made official the renewal of three of its live-action series.
Doom Patrol, which originally aired on DC Universe before moving to HBO Max, has been given the green light for a fourth season. The series follows superheroes who have all suffered a horrific accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also scarred and disfigured them. Part support group, part superhero team, the Doom Patrol is a group of super-powered monsters fighting for a world that wants nothing to do with them.
The series Titans, which was also developed for the DC Universe platform before moving to HBO Max, will also return for a fourth season. Nightwing (Brenton Thwaites), Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft) or Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) are not done with the villains of the DC Universe.
Finally, DC announced that Pennyworth was leaving the Epix channel to join the HBO Max catalog. An announcement that comes with a renewal for a third season. As a reminder, the series follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former special forces officer living in London, before he becomes Bruce Wayne’s butler.
