Scrubs: Sam Lloyd, the actor who played Ted Buckland, has died.

Sam Lloyd, best known for his role as Ted Buckland, the clumsy lawyer in Scrubs, died of cancer. He was 56 years old.

While his role in Scrubs made him known to the general public, Sam Lloyd was already a well-known face on the small screen. Seinfeld, Mad About You, Battery Park, Spin City, Desperate Housewives, The West Wing, Cougar Town, The Middle and The PET Squad Filesare just some of the shows in which he appeared. He also starred in two comedies in the 90s: City and Double Rush.

Sam Lloyd was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2019. The disease gradually spread to his lungs, liver, spine and jaw.
