After Debris, Manifest and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, NBC has decided to cancel Good Girls, the fourth series of the network that was still on hold, at the end of its fourth season.

This decision comes later than for the other series mentioned above because NBC and Universal Television hoped to find a solution to make a fifth season in order to conclude the series. Without success. Netflix, which co-produces the series and has the international rights, has also shown no interest in a possible additional season.

Created by Jenna Bans, Good Girls follows Beth, Annie and Ruby, three women living in the suburbs and facing money problems. To get out of their situation, they decide to rob the supermarket where Annie works. The robbery is a success but they attract the attention of a gang. This is the beginning of an unexpected collaboration.

The cast includes Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Retta (Parks and Recreation), Mae Whitman (State of Grace), Reno Wilson (Mike & Molly), Manny Montana (Graceland), Matthew Lillard (The Bridge) and James Lesure (Las Vegas).
