F is for Family is about to retire from Netflix. Launched on the streaming service in 2015, the animated series by Bill Burr and Mike Price will end in 2021 with a final season 5.

Following this announcement, Bill Burr wanted the fans: “Thank you to all the fans that watched this show”. He also had a few words for all the people involved in F is for Family: “Thanks to Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley Victoria Vaughn, Ted Sarandos and all the INCREDIBLE writers, performers, animators, editors and musicians that made this show happen. Special thanks to the Captain of the Ship: The great Mike Price! I love all you guys!”

Mike-Price, co-creator of the series and Executive Producer, was also on hand to deliver the thank you message: “Working on this show with the great Bill Burr, Vince Vaughn, and our amazing cast, writers, producers and crew has been the greatest joy of my life, and I’m thrilled that we get to do one more season with the Murphys,. I’ll be forever grateful to everyone at Netflix, Gaumont and Wild West who let us share this stressed-out, foul-mouthed and loving family with the world.”

As a reminder, F is For Family follows the Murphy family in the 1970s. A time when political correctness and indoor smoking bans were not part of the vocabulary, let alone the norm, recalls the synopsis. It was also a time when beer was flowing and nothing could separate a man from his TV.

In the voice casting, we find Bill Burr (Breaking BadKroll Show), Laura Dern (Twin PeaksEnlightened), Justin Long (New GirlEd), Debi DerryberryHaley ReinhartSam Rockwell (Galaxy QuestVice), Trevor Devall (Guardians of the GalaxyRocket & Groot), Phil Hendrie (Rick & MortyKing of the Hill), Kevin Michael Richardson (The SimpsonsAmerican Dad) and Mo Collins (Fear The Walking DeadLady Dynamite).
