As we reported last September, AMC had decided to organise a series of panels at New York Comic Con 2024, from 17 to 20 October. One of the series that had the honour of being represented was Mayfair Witches, an adaptation of the trilogy written by Anne Rice, the second season of which will soon be available on the American channel.
During the panel, which took place on October 17, 2024 in the presence of Mark Johnson, executive producer, Esta Spalding, showrunner of the series, and Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa and Alyssa Jirrels, three stars of the series, AMC announced that the second season of Mayfair Witches will premiere on January 5, 2025.
In this new series of episodes, we follow Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) after she unwittingly gives birth to the demon Lasher (Jack Huston). She’s determined to find out what he’s become (human or monster?) and use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put her own desires aside and fight to protect her family.
AMC also used its presence at New York Comic Con 2024 to unveil a first look at the second season of Mayfair Witches. Watch the video below.
